I hold a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a post-masters certificate in addiction counseling from Antioch University New England. I enjoy working collaboratively, striving to create an environment where clients are empowered and supported to live more authentically, improving their lives, relationships, and overall wellness. I believe it is important to recognize the connection between mind, body, and spirit, by incorporating somatic approaches, mindfulness, and spirituality, as well as other creative modalities.
I am insightful and empathetic, and I bring those qualities to our work together. My hope is to build a relationship based on trust, working in partnership toward your goals. And because it is necessary to be your authentic self in the work we do together, I will also be my authentic self. I will actively listen to you, as well as be an active participant in the therapeutic process. There may be times when I am a witness to your suffering, while at other moments I may challenge you to see things in a different light. Whatever arises in the session, I will do my best to provide a safe place in which to explore your most vulnerable self. I am committed to providing effective and compassionate treatment, honoring each person’s unique path to meaning and purpose in their lives.
I consider it a privilege to share in another person’s journey of transformation from hurt to hope.
I have lived in New Hampshire for over 20 years. My husband and I raised our children here and saw them off into adulthood. I currently live with a cat who acts like one of our many rescue dogs (a great example of emotional decision making!) and when I’m not working I can be found on a board, either a standup paddle or snowboard, depending on the season. I enjoy being in nature, reading a good book (I often have several going at a time), and of course, spending time with my pets!
“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.”

I graduated from Antioch New England with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2012, becoming licensed in 2015. Prior to becoming a counselor, I worked in the human services field for many years. I have had experience in community mental health and residential settings, before going into private practice. I am most passionate in helping those with anxiety, trauma, and substance use. As someone who enjoys learning, I am continually expanding my knowledge through education and trainings.
